Frequently asked questions
How long will my appointment take?
As a general rule for new clients we advise to allow 3-4 hours for colour sessions and 45 mins - 1 hour for styling/cutting appointments. If you are having a colour correction session we will allow extra time to transform you.
How many sessions will it take to achieve my desired colour?
Each and every one of our client sessions vary, taking into consideration previous colour history, natural colour level, desired results and porosity of the current hair- the hair is in control! All of this will be determined in your consultation when you visit I Am Hair.
Can I come in for consultation first?
Of course! You're more than welcome to come in for a consultation, we offer this service Wednesday through to Friday yet please do know with all appointments booked at I Am Hair a free consultation and quote is provided prior to your service commencing.
Do you have parking at your salon?
Yes, we do. You can park in our designated spots or alternately there is additional parking around the premises.
Do I need to confirm my booking?
Yes, you need to confirm your appointment. We automatically send out a confirmation text 4 days prior to your appointment as a friendly reminder. Please confirm with ‘YES’ or if you need to make any changes please call the salon. Our system does not recognise any messages other than ‘YES’.
Do you offer hair extensions?
Yes, we specialise and offer both Tape and Clip-in extensions. All extension clients are required to have a consultation at least 2-3 days prior to your booking to allow adequate time for your customised hair extensions to be prepared.
Do you offer keratin treatments?
Yes, we do offer Keratin treatments at I Am Hair which will assist in smoothing out and defrizzing the hair, while still leaving you with natural volume.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
At I Am Hair we value your time and we hope you value ours. We require 24 hours notice for a cancellation or appointment change, and for further information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
