Terms & Conditions

Understanding the Terms of Engagement is essential for both the stylist and client to have a successful and enjoyable salon experience.

 

By booking an appointment at I Am Hair you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, Terms of Sale and Cancellation Policy, as well as consenting to any cancellation charges.

 

It is the client's responsibility to view these terms prior to their booking to ensure a seamless experience.

Future Bookings:

At I Am Hair, we are committed to providing a top-tier experience for all our valued clients. Our goal is to maintain an efficient schedule that respects both your time and ours. When you choose to schedule an appointment with us, you're booking not just a service, but a personalised experience designed specifically for your unique style and preference. To ensure we can consistently provide this high level of service a $100 non-refundable deposit is required for all future bookings. Your $100 deposit can be redeemed in-salon at any of your appointments. Your deposit is non-refundable, if you choose not to use your deposit during your service it will stay on your file for an upcoming appointment as it does not expire. It is the client's responsibility to use their deposit on their final service if they do not wish to have any upcoming appointments. In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of your booking time, this $100 deposit will be forfeited by the salon as a cancellation fee. This approach allows us to manage our appointments more efficiently and ensure that each client receives the quality service they deserve. 

 

Please be aware that quotes cannot be provided over the phone, via email or socials. You will be quoted prior to the commencement of your service or during a consultation appointment, which can be booked through our online booking system. Any and all pricing on our website is starting from price as all pricing may vary depending on hair colour, thickness and length. 

 

Late Arrivals, Cancellations & Missed Appointments: 

We value both your time and ours. Lateness can disrupt our tightly run schedule and affect the experience of our other clients. If you realise that you might be running more than 10 minutes late, we kindly ask that you call the salon as soon as possible to let us know. Being late for your appointment may result in a reduced service however, we will endeavour to be as accommodating as our schedule permits. If you are more than 30 minutes late we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and your non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. This approach helps us manage our appointments more efficiently, ensuring that each client receives the quality service they deserve while respecting everyone's time.

 

Confirmations & Cancellations:

I Am Hair will always confirm your service with a reminder text, phone call, or email a minimum of 3 days before your upcoming appointment. To secure your appointment, we kindly ask that you respond acknowledging the confirmation. When you receive the reminder you have up to 24 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If we do not receive your confirmation within 24 hours of your appointment time, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment. We understand and appreciate that life can sometimes interrupt even the best-laid plans (especially when you book your appointments well in advance). If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, your $100 deposit will be retained by the salon as a cancellation fee. If you do not arrive for your appointment, your $100 deposit will be forfeited as a no-show fee, this fee also applies to same day cancellations. This policy allows us to better manage our schedule, ensuring each client receives the attentive, high-quality service they deserve.

 

Terms of Sale, Refunds, Product Returns & Satisfaction Guarantee:

We do not offer refunds on hair services however we do everything possible to meet your expectations and ensure that you love your hair. If there are any concerns with your hair after you leave the salon, then please get back in touch with us within 7-days and we will arrange a time for you to come back in for a complementary revision appointment within a week of contacting the salon. These services are not charged unless it is more, or new work that is outside what was discussed and agreed upon prior to your original appointment commencing. Please note: Any concerns outside of our 7-day period will be considered a new colour appointment and will be charged accordingly. We will happily accept returns on faulty products that have been purchased within 30 days. The product must be in its original condition, unopened and accompanied by the relevant proof of purchase. Please contact us via email to arrange for the faulty goods to be replaced. 

 

Damage to client property:

While we take utmost care in providing our services, I Am Hair does not assume responsibility for any damage to your personal belongings including clothing or accessories. Please ensure that you wear suitable attire to your appointment and keep personal belongings safe from potential exposure to products or equipment used in our salon. Should any accidental damage occur, we deeply regret the inconvenience caused but we are unable to accept liability for these incidents.

Refer A Friend:

Receive a $50 voucher when an existing client has referred you to use at your first appointment, with a minimum spend of $200. The $50 discount will be applied at their next session, also with a minimum spend of $200.

  • Only one voucher can be used per session, per person.

  • Referral rewards are capped at 10 friends. If you refer more than 10 friends, we’d be thrilled to collaborate with you on an exclusive VIP offer!
     

Active Promotional Codes:
THANKYOU50 as given by our stylists, for a limited time. Discount is limited to $50.00 off your next colour service.

FITDISTRICT50 used by Fit District members, must show code on app when in salon to redeem. Applicable on first sessions over $200.00 limited use to once per person.

BOOKNOW50 limited to one use per client. Eligible for returning clients only with last visit being longer than 6 months ago. Worth $50 off any service over $200.

To redeem your voucher,  the booking must be confirmed by the 5th April 2025 valid for 6 months. A minimum spend of $200 on hair services is required. Vouchers are not applicable to retail products and cannot be exchanged for cash. Only one voucher may be used per appointment, per person, and they cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or special offers. Vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable. By using this voucher, you agree to these terms.
